Small World are just one of the mod bands, past and present, that took part in the Mod Aid 20 single with all profits going to the Band Aid 20 charity. The recording of "Whatcha Gonna Do 'Bout It?" and "Afterglow" took place over the last week in January 2005, with the CD single being released in late May. So WHATCHA YOU GONNA DO 'BOUT IT?

On Thursday 26th May 2005 Small World's Chris Philpott stepped in for Mark Joseph at The Mod Aid 20 media Launch at Filthy McNasties in London as he was unable to attend due to illness. Chris joined Purple Hearts guitarist Simon Stebbing, Secret Affair's Dave Cairns and Ian Page on stage for renditions of Whatcha Gonna Do Bout It and Afterglow. Carins and Page went on to do 3 Secret Affair songs, and Simon Stebbings did Millions Like Us. All the usual suspects were there inclusing John Hellier, Eddie Pillar, Chris Pope, Buddy Ascot, Brent from 17 Black and some bloke called Ian Jones. See the photos below.
